Responsive sleep support for Central Iowa families

You don’t have to choose between supporting your baby’s emotional needs and getting more rest.

My approach to sleep support is rooted in neuroscience, attachment, and responsive caregiving.

I help families gently improve sleep while honoring their baby’s development, temperament, and need for connection.

1-1 Nurtured Sleep Session

As a Nurtured Neuroscience Practitioner trained in the work of Greer Kirshenbaum, I help parents make sense of infant and toddler sleep in a way that feels informed, compassionate, and sustainable for real life.

This is not sleep training, and there are no cry-it-out methods, rigid schedules, or pressure to ignore your instincts. Instead, we work together to understand what may be contributing to sleep challenges, support your child’s nervous system and emotional security, and create practical, responsive strategies that help your whole family rest more peacefully.

Nurtured Sleep Coaching may help if your baby or toddler:

  • wakes very frequently overnight

  • struggles with split nights or long wake windows overnight

  • relies heavily on one specific caregiver to fall asleep

  • is transitioning to a new sleep space

  • is moving away from feeding or nursing to sleep

  • is ready for gentle night weaning (24+ months)

  • becomes highly dysregulated around sleep or bedtime

  • has sleep patterns that feel exhausting, confusing, or unsustainable for your family

Nurturing Infant & Family Sleep for Lifelong Mental Health

Many parents who find me feel caught between two extremes: being told to simply “wait it out,” or feeling pressured into sleep training methods that don’t align with their values. They are exhausted, overstimulated, second-guessing themselves, and overwhelmed by conflicting advice online.

This 1-hour virtual workshop serves as an introduction to key neuroscience principles as well as infant sleep main features. It will help parents understand infant sleep, explore unrealistic expectations, and provide practical strategies for nurturing sleep.

This workshop is appropriate for caregivers with babies age 0-3, as well as expecting parents looking to prepare for what’s ahead.

This workshop is held every other month on the first Tuesday of the month from 1-2pm CST. Recordings are provided to all registrants.

Feel less lost in the noise and more confident in understanding your child’s unique needs…while also supporting your need for rest, regulation, and sustainable rhythms at home.
